Thekchen Buddhist Meditation Centre is part of the New Kadampa Tradition, based in Bitterne park - Southampton, on the edge of the river Itchen, provides an peaceful and inspiring environment in which we can learn about Buddhism and meditation.
Established in 1996, it is home to a spiritual community that includes ordained Buddhists and lay practitioners from all different backgrounds.
Thekchen Centre provides an opportunity for people from all walks of life and faiths to learn about Buddha's teachings and meditation and to enter into a spiritual life. Classes are also taken to your local areas such as Shirley, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Winchester, Romsey and Portsmouth.
